i never thought it would happen this way
i always knew that you will always be there,
regardless of how i push you away
you talk to me as if i'm a princess
treating me well with all those fancy words
as you pass by,
that smile always kept my soul alive
but yesterday was totally different,
you didn't stare at me
you asked casual questions
without the smile in your face
were you expecting a different person?
or am i just exaggerating?
