broken

alone as i wait patiently
the lights blinking,
my heart's throbbing
endless memories of the past keep haunting
will i know you?
somebody rescue me from drowning
tears falling, dreams fading
emptiness stays
wholeness disappears
rejected , trampled and wounded.
