what's wrong?

On my way to work awhile ago, a certain short hair girl rode the vehicle wherein she was seated next to me. By the way, I work in Market Market in Taguig. We were in C-5 then she described this particular Rusty Lopez' ad. The ad reads: "Mom knows best." then she blurted, "tingnan mo yung ad o, MOMS KNOWS BEST.... blah blah blah" I became numb for a moment. I was wondering why she wasn't able to read the ad correctly. I was in a state wherein I don't know whether I will laugh or just leave the situation alone.

Okay, okay.. I am a BIG critic when it comes to english grammar and pronunciation, and I'm not the kind who knows everything. I grew up in an environment where correction is a big key, my siblings and I correct each other regarding grammar and things.

I know I am not perfect but I guess everyone can practice speaking well. I just don't like the thought that we allow people, specifically other races, degrade us -- the Filipino nation. Why not practice so you'd be able to gain confidence and stand up proud?

I don't believe in giving up. I just hope one day, people of every nation will see the Filipinos as the gifted ones.

what i want for my birthday

since my 19th birthday is getting nearer and nearer, i want to post here the things that i want for my birthday.

• mp4 -- that hopefully my brother and his girlfriend will give me (please?!). i'm not really a gadget freak but i love music as much as i love theater, so please give me an mp4.

• digital video camera of my own -- would you still believe that i'm not a gadget freak? hahaha.

• a minivan -- now that i know how to drive, of course i want to practice driving. i want a minivan, with its exteriors graphically designed by my beloved brother, and its interiors set up to produce the best sounds. ha! how i wish i could buy myself a vehicle.

• a notebook -- not much of a gadget freak eh?

• a plane ticket to tour the whole world -- that would be one great gift... Ü
